Distressed Farmhouse Hutch

I am in LOVE with the way this hutch turned out. I had painted a dresser with Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Tricycle Red and it turned out beautiful but did not chip. I painted this in Miss Mustard Seed Yellow, left it for the night and walked in to see it peeling and chipping like my face did that time I got a chemical peel :-) I love showing this piece to potential clients because it usually gets me a paint job! To see other pieces I’ve painted check out my design FB page Brandie Dickerson Designs I will be offering paint workshops in the near future that will feature all types of paint including Milk Paint, Chalk Paint, Latex Paint and how to use them to transform furniture pieces!
